About the book...

Hello!  I'm Mike Pratt.  

I’ve been married to my wonderful wife, Tina, since February 18, 1989 (I’ll let you do the math: )  While we’ve had a great marriage, it took us a while to understand the importance of the four areas of intimacy—spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical.  Once we began applying these principles to our relationship, we experienced a deeper, more fulfilling connection that has grown stronger over time.

As a pastor, I’ve had the privilege of working with many couples, both married and pre-married.  During my time at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, I counseled numerous couples, helping them navigate the challenges of marriage and preparing them for a Christ-centered relationship.  I share a couple of testimonies from some of these couples in this e-book. Now, as the pastor of Redemption Rock, a small church in South Chatham, Massachusetts, I continue to walk alongside couples, guiding them through the journey of building a healthy, intimate, Christ-centered marriage.

This e-book is a reflection of my own experience and the wisdom I’ve gained from God through years of pastoral counseling.  My hope is that the insights and exercises within these pages will encourage you, as they did Tina and me, to deepen your connection with each other and with God, and to cultivate a marriage that reflects His love and grace.
